The special spatial conditions of the exhibition room in a corner tower of the castle at Höchstädt, allowed for a large round terrain model, which was placed right in centre of that room. This layout guaranteed that even large groups of visitors could follow the animation.
The entire model body with a radius of 3
meters was manufactured in one CNC-process based on a Digital Elevation Model
(DEM) with a mesh size of 25 m.
