On behalf of the Frauenau community, and under expert accompaniment from the Bavarian Forest National Park, a new information point has been set up for the National Park in the newly opened Glasmuseum in Frauenau, which offers an Interactive Terrain Model for visitors to the region. Even though the National Park in the area of Frauenau is only portrayed with its northern region, the visitor still receives comprehensive information about the special features of the near-border landscape and information about tourist offers, as well as about the commune and the park itself. Casually through the scale of the model's detail, a part of the neighbouring national park on the Czech side is also depicted.
