During the rehabilitation of the former basalt quarry located at Hohen Hagen near Dransfeld/Göttingen, tribute was paid to the special geological and mining features of the location, in which a substantial part of the natural monument was not filled, and so remained an attraction below Gaussturms to the public.
On behalf of the community of Dransfeld, an information path is to convey the earth science and historical facts of this locality in an attractive way. Currently, various innovative ways are being taken which could break through the customary information path features. The design office geographic/Aachen participated in the execution of this.
